They gathered up their closest friends, all piled into a van and drove across the country to the southwest desert. We started before the sun rose, Claire got dressed on the dirt road lit by our phone flashlights. They read their vows to each other and had coffee from a thermos, then got married amongst ancient rock formations, and celebrated by exploring the land, beer in hand.
